Horsham Club Knockout 2018-19: Higgs – Mansson

I managed to win the final of the knockout competition, following a tough game against Anthony Higgs. The game started with an unusual opening; both players found reasonable moves for a while, until an exchange of mistakes saw Anthony get the upper hand. However, he subsequently not only lost the advantage, but fell briefly into a lost position. It was then my turn to miss my chance. The position was then roughly equal for a long time, as both players gradually ran short of time, until Anthony finally blundered and promptly resigned, following my reply.

I give the game below with some notes.
