Sussex League Division 1 2023-24: Horsham 1 – Worthing 1

Last night, Horsham 1 scored an excellent 3.5-0.5 win over Worthing 1. I contributed an accurate win against Peter Larwood on board three.

County Match (Open) 2023-24: Surrey – Sussex

Yesterday, Sussex played its first county match of the season. We were away against Surrey at their familiar venue in Cheam. Surrey had a very strong team, so it was no surprise that they achieved a decisive victory.

Horsham Chess Club Quickplay Knockout 2022-23: Mansson – Trofin

Yesterday night was the last meeting of the club before Christmas. I took the opportunity to play my third round match in the Quickplay Knockout Plate Competition against Marian Trofin. I managed to win 2-0, taking me into the semi-final.
