Horsham Club Knockout 2012-13: Mansson – Denning

I won my semi-final match in the Knockout Plate against Julie Denning last night. Julie’s choice of defensive formation against the Sämisch was not the best; having chosen the quite reasonable 6…Nbd7, she should have followed up with 7…c5, which … Continue reading

Mid-Sussex League Division 1 2012-13: Horsham 1 – Brighton 1

On Tuesday I played for Horsham 1 against Brighton 1 in the Mid-Sussex League. The team suffered a clear loss, and my individual game was frustrating, as I managed to lose on time in what looks like a level position.
