Round 4 of the 4NCL saw e2e4.org.uk 2 up against Fermented Sharks. The match ended in a 3-3 draw. Unfortunately, my game, which was the last to finish, proved decisive in allowing our opponents to equalise the match.
The position was unclear until we started to run short of time as we approached the time control. Then I allowed the position to slip and by move 40 found myself in a losing position. I tried to find some tricks, but to no avail, and my opponent secured the win.
