Mid-Sussex League Division 1 2012-13: Horsham 1 – Brighton 2

Last Thursday, a weakened Horsham 1 team just managed to beat Brighton 2 3-2, as described in the match report here.

My game against Mustapha Othman saw me winning as Black in only 30 moves. My opponent unwisely decided to give up his dark-squared bishop, which led to there being numerous weak squares in his position. Later he faltered in a difficult position; although my response was not quite the strongest, he then failed to find the best defence and lost very quickly.

I give the game below with some notes.
